Repeated various times creating the layers and immersion of colors. | ![]() Lighting project inspired by Tim Burtons Beetle Juice, I used black foam core for the cube construction and white paper for the checkered floor and ceiling, along with the striped sides. Then created a focal point by boxing off the corner with white paper mimicking the striped walls. ![]() Bag hanger constructed by repurposed materials such as wood slats, and old cloth hangers hooks. I then stenciled and burned a design into the wood creating the dark lines. Next, I melted and dripped candle wax onto various areas to create dimension and interest. After the wax dried, I sealed the panels with a cherry wood stain. | ![]() | ![]() |
![]() I found this stool on the side of the road, took it apart, discarded the top and constructed a new one from wood, fabric samples and foam. For the legs, I stripped the original stain, sanded, and re enforced the joints then re stained it | ![]() The assignment was to make a prototype light fixture based on the film The Cook the Thief, his Wife and her Lover. I assembled a corset constructed of plastic forks spoons and knives representing the Wife and Cook; the stem of the light fixture is traditional with a modern aesthetic. The base consists of crumpled up book pages and diamonds to represent the Thief and Lover. |
